Mission statement

At Melissa Ajram Legal, my mission is to provide clear, accessible legal support that empowers people and businesses to move forward with confidence. I focus on delivering high-quality services with a practical, human approach — without the formality or overwhelm of traditional firms. Whether advising on complex contracts, supporting personal matters like wills, immigration or family law, or offering ongoing guidance as a trusted legal partner, I’m here to simplify the law and make it work for you.

About Melissa

Admitted to practice in both the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia, I bring a broad, cross-cultural perspective and international insight to my legal practice. Having studied law in both the United Kingdom and Australia, my approach blends traditional legal principles with contemporary, client-focused service.

Background

With strong personal ties to both French and Arabic-speaking communities, I value clear, compassionate communication and culturally sensitive legal advice. Being fluent in English, French, and Arabic, I proudly assist clients from a diverse range of backgrounds and life experiences.

My career began in private practice, working across areas of commercial law, family law, company law, and property matters. This foundational experience gave me valuable exposure to the everyday legal issues faced by individuals and businesses alike. I later transitioned to in-house legal counsel roles within industries such as healthcare and technology, before establishing my own practice to offer clients a more personalised, approachable, and solutions-focused legal service.

What Sets Melissa Ajram Legal apart

At the heart of my practice is a simple philosophy: listen first, act with care, and deliver with integrity. Legal matters can feel overwhelming — my role is to simplify complexities, offer clear, practical advice, and advocate for your best interests.

Clients value my ability to communicate with warmth, explain legal processes in plain language (whether in English, French, or Arabic), and tailor practical, strategic solutions to suit their circumstances. No two clients or matters are the same — and I approach each one with curiosity, empathy, and sharp legal insight.

Life Beyond the Law

Away from the desk, I’m passionate about travel, books, basketball, and good food. I love discovering new destinations, curating creative projects, and cherishing meaningful moments with the people who matter most. These interests keep me grounded, creative, and connected to what really matters in life.
